Bubblehouse

Bubblehouse is a fast-growing custom loyalty platform headquartered in NYC with a fully remote global team. They power loyalty programs for brands like American Girl and Old Spice. The team runs on Golang and custom data storage built on local key-value stores, colocating storage and compute on dedicated hardware and reading data directly from mmap’ed pages. The stack uses almost zero third-party dependencies and server-side rendered JavaScript/HTML. Looking for candidates with top-to-bottom understanding of the software stack (from modern web platform to CPU caches), strong problem solving and unconventional thinking, rapid learning ability, broad experience across paradigms and platforms, care for software craftsmanship, and great spoken English with the ability to communicate 9am–noon New York time.
