Pre-seed defense startup in Munich building autonomous interceptor drones to stop FPV kamikaze drones. Problems to solve: (1) real-time detection, classification and tracking of small drones at 100+m using a camera and a single edge processor at 30 fps against challenging backgrounds; (2) guidance law that predicts target position 0.5s ahead, computes intercept geometry and commands the flight controller with noisy IMU, wind gusts and non-linear target motion — no GPS/RF link, all onboard compute. Existing prototype and simulation results (IBVS, guidance in SITL) exist; now need engineers to make it work in real world. Hiring roles: Computer Vision & Edge AI Engineer (YOLO on Jetson/Hailo/QRB5165, pruning, TensorRT, sensor fusion), GNC / Flight Systems Engineer (image-based visual servoing, proportional navigation, EKF/UKF, PX4 integration), Simulation & Test Engineer (SITL/HITL, Monte Carlo, digital twins), and Technical Advisors (drone warfare, GNC/aerospace, defense procurement). 2 founders.
