Horison.ai is a funded early-stage startup building an intelligence substrate for private capital. The Applied Research Engineer will own knowledge and retrieval infrastructure including ontology design, hybrid retrieval (dense/sparse/structured), information extraction, and knowledge quality systems; translate research into production; and shape technical direction from day one. Requires research experience in IR, NLP, or knowledge representation and demonstrated shipped work. Team of six. Location: London, UK (Onsite/Hybrid).
